Penistone Community Radio Limited is run by a board of directors, all volunteers who are a mix of local people and people with relevant radio experience.
The Board is made up of:
Darren Holmes (Station Director), who’s role is to oversee the operation of the station, ensuring compliance with Ofcom rules and that Penistone FM meets its objectives. Darren oversees prgrammes, news, show allocation, community news and interviews.
Andrew Millner has responsibility for applying for grant funding for the station. He also oversees editing, production and station software.
Keith Bar
na is the stations Financial Director and manages the income and expenditure of the station.
Martin Sugden is our HR Director and looks after the management of all our volunteers.
Colin Geldard is the Events and Outside Broadcasts Director overseeing non-studio activities.
Ian France is our community group liason and looks after all new music.
Brian Robinson sorts out all techinical issues and oversees health & safety.
Director positions are available for election from the membership each year.
