Penistone Station Wildflower Reserve Volunteer Day

Wednesday, 4th January 10.00am – 4.00pm

At the new Penistone Station wildflower nature reserve

The wildflower reserve is a relatively new partnership between the Trans Pennine Trail conservation volunteers (TPTcv, Penistone-Dunford Bridge) and the Penistone Line Partnership (PLP).  It seeks to improve disused railway track beds and platforms adjacent to the TPT which are in the ownership of Network Rail. Everyone is welcome to join in and lend a hand – either for the whole day or just for as long as you can spare!

TPT users can access the site by the snickets through to the station.  For any car parking people should use the Paramount Cinema car park on Shrewsbury Road.
