Sunday 17th June

The Pennine Tractor Run – 10.30am, Dunford Parish Community Centre, Victoria. From Penistone, go through Millhouse Green, Hazlehead and Crow Edge, then keep a look-out on your right. The Parish Centre is on a big field with plenty of parking, although the main area can become boggy in wet weather. The centre has toilets and you can get tea or coffee. Bacon sandwiches will be available to buy in the morning before set-off

For many years this event was organised by Twiford Motors and it used to set off from Holmfirth until a few years ago. This year’s event has a new committee and new location. A new 41-mile route has been planned for 2018 (released soon). The halfway stop is Our Cow Molly’s ice cream shop, Cliffe House Farm, Hill Top Road, Dungworth, Sheffield, S6 6GW (only Ice cream and milk available), followed by a return to the Parish Community Centre. Drivers will need to bring a packed lunch. The cost to participants is £15, with proceeds (including sponsors’ input) going to three charities: Multiple Sclerosis, WYAMs and the Dunford Parish Community Centre, Hazlehead.
