I started playing in bands and listening to music from an early age. After school I took up residence as a recording engineer in a small local studio. I moved to London a few years later and worked on sessions at Abbey Road, Sarm West and Swanyard. During this time I was also lucky enough to be one of last musicians to ever perform live at the original Marquee Club. In the late nineties I studied Multimedia at the University of Greenwich and worked for the BBC and Sony. A few years later I moved back to Yorkshire and setup a video production company creating content for the IPTV service Stream.
I have a passion for ambient electronica music and an obsession with remixing video. I’ve started recording music again, and I recently released a chillout album with local musician Michael e on the German label Sine Music.
The main thing my experiences have taught me is that music (and culture) needs to be encouraged if artists are to reach their full potential. As such I really enjoy sharing the work of talented local and international artists who would not normally get a chance to be heard on the radio.
