Steve was born in 1957, he lived in London and Devon until 1975. Steve worked for shipping companies until 1987 when he left the sea to join a national scaffold company as Branch Manager. Steve met his wife Lynette in 1989, married in 1989. Moved to Thurlstone in 1996 and now working for a local scaffold company. Joined PenistoneFM in 2009 as a volunteer and proud to be part of the community !
Q. What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
A. Working in the bilges of a ship cleaning out waste water & muck at night, in December, coming up the English Channel in cold, freezing weather back in 1976.

A. In front of the telly or reading.

A. Album – Tubular Bells, Single (who remembers these ?) can’t remember . . . .

A. Either Greece or California – a close decision !

A. Yes, locked outside in the corridor of an hotel having mistaken the room door for the toilet door in the early hours of the morning . . .

A. A Curry !

A. Watching telly, reading, walking dog, being at home with my wife.
