Radio Presenter / Trainee Presenter
Role description
Are you interested in presenting your own show on Penistone FM? We are looking for people all age groups with the skills and ability to put a programme together as a volunteer presenter. Following training and successful evaluation you will be responsible for putting a specialist or other current show together as part of a strong team on a weekly basis.
This position requires a very strong weekly commitment and will also include carrying out external interviews within the local community and other promotional events. We are not looking for “show and go” presenters or “disco DJ’s” as we are a strong interactive community radio station.

Ideal skills or experience – Good communicator, well organised, links with and or interested in local community groups, good pc skills and knowledge of the Penistone surrounding area plus willing to learn new skills. It should be noted that the position may be subject to a CRB check, references and trial period.
