BSARCS is a well-established Barnsley charity which offers confidential services to people who have experienced rape or sexual abuse at any point during their lives. Services include: therapy, counselling, group work, a text and email helpline, and support through the criminal justice system.

They are looking for female ISVAs to work within a small team in Rotherham who will deliver a high-quality support service for adults. You should have substantial, recent experience of direct work with adults, safeguarding and the supporting vulnerable people.
Initial closing date is Monday 23rd January 2017 at 12noon however there will be on going recruitment on the website.
They are also looking for several suitably qualified therapists to provide safe and effective post-abuse therapeutic interventions to children and young people. Experience of working therapeutically with children and young people is essential. You should have recent trauma therapy experience in this specialist area.
The post is restricted to female applicants (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9: Part 1 ((1a).
Closing date is Monday 6th February 2017 at 12 noon.
They also need women with experience and knowledge of issues particularly affecting women or children to become volunteer trustees. A background in social services, therapeutic work, finance or accountancy, bid writing or law would be advantageous.
Trustee training will be provided on acceptance to the post.
