The Crafty Business Networking combines networking with the chance to have a go at a craft, from sewing to jewellery-making.
The scheme has already been running in Sheffield for 6 months with up to 30 people attending, with businesses ranging from photography and coaching to business psychology.
The first meeting of the Barnsley Branch will be held between 6.00 – 8.00pm at The Oak Star Cafe at The Civic on Monday 29th September.
Everyone will have the opportunity to do a 60 second introduction to the group and learn more about other businesses as part of the evening.
Steph Cronin, organiser of the Barnsley branch, who runs Black Bee Creative, said: “It’s a chance to share ideas and problems, and discuss solutions on the subjects of both crafting and business and is a real antidote to traditional networking events.”
