Barnsley Libraries are looking for people who can spare some time to get involved and help support activities that aim to inspire a love for reading, especially with children.
If this sounds like you, and you have the time to spare, then pop along to the central library on Wellington Street on Wednesday 19th November from 1.00pm to 3.00pm to find out more about what’s on offer and how you could get involved.
Throughout the year, libraries host hundreds of events for children to enjoy together with their parents, from the Summer Reading Challenge, story times, to arts and crafts and sing-a-longs which can be brought to life with people like you who can inspire a love of reading in our young readers that can last a lifetime.
There’s lots of ways you could get involved, no matter how much or how little time you have to spare. See what you could do to make a difference.
