This is your chance to change lives as you support the work to promote donation sessions, attract new donors and reward those donors for their dedication. Enthusiastic and committed with good IT skills, you will principally work within blood donation ensuring that collection targets are met, though you will also support acquisition marketing and donor recognition ceremonies. It’s an excellent opportunity to build your marketing know-how through a range of field and desk-based activities.
It’s likely you’ll bring solid experience of excellent customer service in a marketing-related role. You will definitely be qualified to A-level standard or have NVQ Level 3. A full driving licence and the ability to work away from base to meet the needs of the role and the organisation will be essential. Strong on identifying the best form of communication to use, you will have the ability to obtain, analyse and review research and information drawn from various sources in a systematic way. Experience of assisting with event management would be desirable.

From May/June 2020 you will be based at a new purpose-built site in Barnsley which is just off Junction 37 of the M1. In the meantime your base will be the Sheffield site.

Salary: £18,813 to £20,795 pa
