Make Friends & Music at the UPLIFT Coffee Café Choir!

St Paul’s Church, Old Town Barnsley, S75 2TB  Every Tuesday 1.00pm -3.00pm, from 1st September

Ever fancied joining a choir, but don’t think you can sing? This September sees the start of a choir with a difference! Focused on the well-known fact that singing makes us feel good,   the UPLIFT Coffee Café Choir does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a social setting for people to get together for a chat, a cuppa and a bit of a singalong regardless of whether you have pitch perfect vocals or not!

The project is funded by the Old Town Ward Alliance as part of the Love Where you Live campaign. It is aimed at anyone of any age and any ability to come along and relax, make music and new friends.

For more information, or to get involved in the choir, contact project leader Paul Newman at Creative Recovery, on 01226 320 147  or visitwww.upliftbarnsley.blogspot.co.uk.
