Sheffield University is looking for an enthusiastic and confident marketing and communications specialist who will use their creative skills and marketing experience to attract students to study arts and humanities subjects at a world-leading university.
Based within the Faculty Office, you will work closely with departments to develop and implement effective marketing plans, focusing particularly on working with them to recruit high-achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students from the UK and a number of key priority overseas markets.
You will design, deliver and evaluate a series of dedicated marketing campaigns producing engaging and impactful content for print and digital channels, maximising opportunities to positively affect student recruitment. You will also develop innovative and creative marketing solutions to help us recruit a more diverse community of students.
You will provide marketing and communication support for other faculty initiatives including those designed to raise the profile of arts and humanities subjects and the world-leading research undertaken by our academic departments.
You will line manage the Digital Content Editor and work with the post holder to generate high quality content for web, social media and print to support our marketing and communications activity.
You will have the communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders. Working in a busy and dynamic environment you will manage your own workload, juggle tasks and meet strict deadlines. You will have a good honours degree or equivalent experience together with experience of developing and delivering successful marketing plans using multiple communications channels and techniques to target specific audiences.
Salary: £26,243 to £30,395 per year
