Oh what old memories! We lived at Rose Hill between 1959 and 1967. My Dad was technical manager at David Browns and I was a pupil at St Johns C of E later at the grammar school.. My mum used to drive the mobile library and then worked at the newly built Penistone Library> we moved to upper cumberworth in 67. I live in Leeds but my brother lives locally -Clayton West- and my sister lives near Hathersage. My first summer job was at Hawleys saw mill at the top of Green Lane.We still have a few photos of the old place. let me know if you are interested and I can send copies. Your phone number is wrong by the way Regards
