There’s an exciting new post within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Sheffield for an excellent administrator to play a key role in supporting the Faculty’s interdisciplinary research ambitions including five high-profile research centres and institutes.

You will have a minimum of five GCSEs, including English and Maths, have good organisational skills, and be able to work accurately and systematically, even under pressure. You’ll be someone with experience in an administrative role, preferably with a financial background, able to take the initiative and skilled at establishing and maintaining good working relationships. In addition, you should be familiar with the use of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word, and electronic calendars.
