Silkstone Primary School will be holding their annual Summer Fair on Friday 20th June, 3.45pm – 5.30pm at the school on Silkstone High Street.

The fair, organised by an enthusiastic PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is open to the general public and will take place in the school, playground and field.

Summer weather is hoped for so that children and adults alike can take full advantage of activities such as splat the rat, target practice, tombola stalls, a human fruit machine (organised by pupils on the School Council), hook-a-duck and bouncy slide.

Maria Penrose School of Dance and Silkstone Primary School’s very own Samba Band as well as choir performances will provide entertainment

Refreshments including a BBQ, tea tent, chocolate fountain and ice cream stall will be available.

The fair will raise funds to enable the PTA to contribute towards school trips and fund resources and equipment for all children in school to take advantage of.
