Responsibilities
- Dealing with customers over the phone, email and remote desktop
- Doing call-outs to local customers to support hardware and software on site
- Maintaining, configuring and troubleshooting Windows servers and Desktop
Essential
APPLICANTS WITH LESS THAN 1YR WINDOWS HELPDESK EXPERIENCE WILL BE REJECTED
- Basic grasp of TC/IP networking and related protocols such as DHCP,DNS,SMTP
- Windows Server management and installations
- Must be experienced with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Advanced Windows Desktop and Server knowledge
You will also have
- Ability to explain technical issues in easy to understand terms over the phone and in writing
- Ability to confidently handle a range of technical support issues, with excellent phone manner
- Good technical troubleshooting skills
Desirable
- Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Windows 2012 Server related qualifications
