My Voice Matters
Do you feel isolated?
Maybe due to social isolation, mobility or opportunity?
Would you like to be more involved in the local area?
Would you like to be more confident in your voice?
If you said yes to any of those questions, why not contact Penistone FM NOW!
We have launched a brand-new project in partnership with the National Lottery Community Fund.
You will be part of a great local radio station, where you will gain confidence in yourself and your voice, as well as expert training in how to present and report for local radio.
Where will this take place ?
Suite 7, Penistone 1, St Mary’s Street, Penistone, S36 6DT.
Sessions will normally last 1 to 2 hours generally once a week over a number of months.
Numbers are strictly limited to ensure that everyone on the training receives a worthwhile experience; either working one-to-one or in a pair.
The tutors all have enhanced DBS clearance to allow them to work with young people.
We look forward to hearing from you.

I have enjoyed the course a lot as it has given me an interesting insight into an area we often take for granted on the airwaves. It is also the best thing I have ever done in my life!
