Annie Try, the novelist of such books as Out of Silence, Losing Face and Trying to Fly is coming to this area. She’s attending book signings in Penistone Library, Holmfirth and Sheffield, but she’ll be hosting a special event called Adventures in Writing.

A retired Consultant Clinical Psychologist, she turned to writing fiction after her professional career. She’ll start with a talk at 11.30am and move into a Beginning to Write workshop at 1.30. The event is free but donations towards expenses and the refreshments will be gratefully received.
