Where: West of the Minewater Project board; ten minutes walk from Bullhouse Bridge heading towards Hazlehead)

Meet: On the Trail at Bullhouse Bridge picnic area, or on site at around 10.15 if approaching from Hazlehead Bridge direction

What will they be doing? Removing overhead branches from a short length of the Trail; maintaining adjacent views; establishing a habitat pile for this area; building willow tit nests where possible, etc.

Parking: Please arrive on foot or by bike if you can. If you need to come in your car you can park with care alongside the A628 at Bullhouse Bridge; please note there is no parking in nearby Bullhouse Chapel Lane.

You’ll need to wear…Old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or torn, sturdy footwear and gloves – waterproof if it’s wet – to protect your hands.

Do bring… A packed lunch – they’ll provide tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits in the morning and afternoon. They do have tools and equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own (in good condition) if you prefer. Don’t forget the waterproofs (and the suncream)!
