At Penistone Library

Children love being read to. It’s one of the most satisfying times in their busy lives. It’s also gives them a feeling of great comfort when they can read successfully to someone else. If you know of a child aged 5-11 who wishes to increase their confidence in reading aloud, take them along to read to the lovely therapy dog, Lumi. If they prefer it, they can have a story read to them instead, by her owner Jean.

Lumi will be at Penistone Library & E-Learning Centre on the following Thursdays:  25th July, 1st August, 8th August, 15th August, 22nd August & 29th August from 2pm-4pm.

Please remember that prior booking is essential.
