Do you have any soft wool lying around that you are never going to use? Is it soft enough to keep a premature baby warm and snugly?

Would you like to donate it to a worthy cause?

Penistone knitters, run by Sheryll Dixon, are knitting hats, jackets, blankets etc for premature babies in all the local hospitals.  They currently support 7 hospitals and 6 charities from preemie babies in 4 neonatal units to chemo patients at Western Park. Fitzwilliam Court, Weavers Court and Buckingham House have either joined in with the knitting or are benefitting from the big blankets being knitted.

They still urgently need wool so if you have any baby wool, please take it to Tesco in Penistone. There is a box for all wool donations on top of the bookcase where they sell second hand books for charity. Thank you.
